Work Assistance Programme 
Our job is to help you to find a job.

 

Every Deaf deserves the opportunity to maximise his/her potential and lead a life of dignity within society.

 

Job Preparation

We conduct job-readiness assessment and help job-seekers write resumes and prepare for interviews.

 
Job Search
We help Deaf job-seekers look for appropriate jobs that meet their needs and preferences.
 
Job Support
We provide the following job support services:
  • interpreting service at interviews
  • consultation on work-related issues
  • continual follow-up support for 3 months
 
Job Counselling
We provide counselling for job-seekers regarding their job preference, job performance, expectations and other work-related areas.
 
Support Group
Discussion groups focused on common work-related issues are held to provide Deaf workers a safe place to share and find solutions amongst themselves. 
 
Criteria to join the Work Assistance Programme
You need to be Deaf and be at least 16 years old.

In order to ensure that our staff can attend to you effectively, please SMS 97694403 to make an appointment to see our staff.
 
What you need to bring:
  • NRIC 
  • Resume (if you have) 
  • Copies of relevant certificates 
  • Letters from doctors that certified that you can work (if you have prior medical issues).
 
This service is FREE OF CHARGE for all TOUCH Silent Club members. Non-members pay a one-time fee of $5 for the Work Assistance Programme.
